In partnership with the Edgewood Reads program, the Edgewood librarian needs our help to host quarterly Brown Bag Book Clubs during lunch/recess time. This is an opportunity for a group parents to come in during lunch/recess and help host an event tied to that quarter's short story. 

During lunch, parents will mingle with students and ask questions about the short story and reading in general. During recess the parents will split into 2 groups. The first will continue the book club discussions with students in the library alongside the librarian. The second group will supervise a more active activity related to the short story with the assistance of the lunch supervisors. For Q1 this will be basketball related. 

For each quarter we will need 6-10 parent volunteers to sign up. A copy of the short story and corresponding questions will be provided for each volunteer. Follow this link for more information and to sign up: Brown Bag Book Club Volunteer
